Hey There
Git is an amazingly powerful tool for code versioning. Unfortunately lot of people struggles to get it right. We will have a walk through on couple of interesting topics about git. Those who are interested (and only those who are interested, as per suggested by a colleage, point no 1 here), to know more about Git may attend the session we are planning to have. You can attend the session by registering here, and then confirming it in the mail sent to the registered email. And as our conference room can accomodate only 32 members, so, its first come first serve. BTW, the presentation is very long (~200 slides. See the full index). So, the session is scheduled to be on three days, one hour each, starting from 15th April from 1800 - 1900 (History and Introduction). Second session will be on 17th April from 1800 - 1900 (Deep dive) and the final session will be on 17th April from 1800 - 1830 (Q & A)

Akbar

I am a software developer, have been for past 6 years, who was bitten by Git on multiple occassoins. For long time I was constrained by so called best practices. It took a while for me to understand the power of Git apart from couple of commands I normally issue in the shell.
